Heavy Equipment Mechanic

  • $35-$60 Per Hour

    • Providing quality repairs on Construction Equipment in the shop and/or field environments.

    • Engines, transmissions, electrical, and hydraulic systems maintenance 

    • Structural repairs including welding

    • Diagnosing & troubleshooting equipment

    • Must be able to work on their own and require no supervision

    • Must be able to follow established Original Equipment Manufacturing procedures and guidelines 

    • Must demonstrate safe and proper application of hand, pneumatic, and electric tools

    • Have basic computer skills for proper file documentation on each job performed

    • Performs other functions or duties as directed by management

    • 5+ years of mechanical experience in construction equipment is highly preferred

    • Must have experience diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment

Mobile Diesel Mechanic

  • $31-$55 Per Hour

    • Perform inspection, troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair and maintenance for medium and heavy duty trucks, trailers and equipment including all major vehicle systems: Engine, Drive-Train, Brakes, Suspension, steering, electrical, and computer diagnostics.

    • Operate a fully equipped and functional mobile service vehicle, delivering service to customer locations

    • Ability to respond throughout the day to different tasks as dictated by the changing demands and needs of the business

    • Ability / flexibility to work an average of 8-10 hours per week of overtime

    • Highly proficient in troubleshooting and computer diagnostics

    • Strong independent work ethic and responsible character

    • Punctual, reliable, and positive attitude

    • Advanced aptitude and ability to perform diagnostics and repairs

    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Diesel mechanic / technician

    • ASE Certification(s) in Medium / Heavy Duty Category preferred

    • Clear background and driving record

Reefer Mechanic

  • $24-$42 Per Hour

    • Maintain transport refrigeration systems on trucks, trailers, APU, V-series, Gensets, and Bus by performing diagnostics using scanners, electronic test equipment, and onboard computers.  

    • Ability to perform preventive maintenance, component replacement, and service the refrigeration equipment. 

    • Able to maintain transport refrigeration units on trucks, trailers, APU’s and Genset’s by reviewing shop orders, writing up estimates, and the details of the repairs needed or completed.

    • Repair failures; remove, replace, and test with a multimeter.

    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair components on the truck, trailer, and V-series refrigeration units.  

    • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair components on gensets and APU’s.

    • Will be required to Install various Thermo king new units on trailers, trucks, V-series, APUs (Willing to train)

    • Perform other functions or duties as directed by management

    • Highly prefer 3+ years of experience repairing Thermo King or Carrier refrigeration units 

    • Must have general mechanical experience in heavy diesel equipment and electrical diagnostics. 

In-Shop Diesel Mechanic

  • $28-$42 Per Hour

    Salary levels commensurate with experience.  

    • Providing quality repairs on Construction Equipment in the shop and/or field environments.

    • Engines, transmissions, electrical, and hydraulic systems maintenance 

    • Structural repairs including welding

    • Diagnosing & troubleshooting equipment

    • Must be able to work on their own and require no supervision

    • Must be able to follow established Original Equipment Manufacturing procedures and guidelines 

    • Must demonstrate safe and proper application of hand, pneumatic, and electric tools

    • Have basic computer skills for proper file documentation on each job performed

    • Performs other functions or duties as directed by management

  • Qualified applicant must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check and provide their own tools.

    • ASE Certification or Navistar Certification is preferred.

    • 3+ years hands on experience as a diesel technician preferably dealership experience

    • Cummins Engine Certification preferred

    • Diagnostic skills/experience & attention to detail is an absolute requirement

    • Extensive knowledge in the repair & maintenance of diesel engines and power trains

    • Strong verbal & documentation skills

Trailer Tech / Mechanic

  • $31-$45 Per Hour

    • Position requires a motivated self-starter with experience in all phases of trailer repair to be considered

    • Able to perform trailer Preventative Maintenance, BIT, and DOT Inspections

    • Diagnose Isolate and repair electric or lighting systems such as shorts and open circuits

    • Must be able to perform Air Brake Inspections and Repairs: Air Brake Overhauls, measure brake lining thickness, Drums, and S Cams, adjust brakes, replace S Cams and bushings, slack adjusters, and replace relay values, air tanks. Brake Mechanics Certificate a plus

    • Rail and lift-gate experience required, certified is a plus: make adjustments to the hydraulic gate platform and its controls

    • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems, replace rail cables and/or cylinders, and replace motors, pumps, and relays

    • Must be able to weld and replace suspension components and landing legs. Welding certified is a plus

    • Experience in Collision Repair, Dry and Refrigerated Van, Structure, Roll & Swing Doors, Interiors, Exteriors, Ceilings, and Roof repairs is a plus

    • Performs other functions or duties as directed by management

Service Manager

  • $41-$55 Per Hour

    • Develops and follows an annual service budget to provide realistic, attainable, and measurable profit goals compatible with overall dealership financial and operational goals.

    • Recruits and hires service personnel and develops and retains key talent through individual development plansCoordinates recruiting of new talent utilizing local Technical school programs.

    • Maintains all management reports necessary to audit the performance of the department and individual employees.

    • Ensures that all manufacturer warranty and Product Improvement Program (PIP) claims are completed and filed promptly according to the manufacturer’s requirements.

    • Monitors warranty expense and recovery rates to meet company objectives.

    • Responsible for our facility inspections, safety meetings, and coordinating the annual safety inspections.Schedules and assigns job and work areas to employees according to their skills and knowledge.

    • Ensures that Service Department is equipped with the necessary tools and service equipment is available and maintained in good working order.

    • Coordinates dealership training programs and service-related customer clinics.

    • Monitors metrics every month to assure the achievement of departmental goals.

    • Maintain and develop current customer relationships.

    • Regularly be engaged away from the employer's place or places of business and will be driving to the existing customer’s and/or prospective client’s location.

    • Comply with all road signs and operate vehicles within their limits and weather environment.

    • Performs other functions or duties as directed by management

    • Minimum 3 years experience in management and service department operations or related fields.

    • Heavy construction equipment is required to be considered for this position.

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

    • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and internet functions.

    • Good human relations and effective oral and written communication skills.

    • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
